Stir-fry dishes are a quick and healthy way to enjoy a delicious meal. This Easy Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry with Sesame Oil is perfect for busy weeknights or when you want a flavorful, nutritious dish in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Start by preparing all your ingredients. Slice the chicken, chop the broccoli, and gather your seasonings. This makes cooking smoother and faster.

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, salt, pepper, and stir well to combine. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and add it to the skillet, cooking for another minute until the sauce thickens.
