Ingredients Needed
- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Cooking Instructions
Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the broccoli, red bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Return the cooked tofu to the pan. Add the hoisin sauce and toss everything together until evenly coated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
